My Favorite Scenes: The Godfather Pt. 2 (1974)
There is no look captured on celluloid that is quite as horrifying as the look on Michael's face in this scene. Nothing. The conviction, the rage, the spontaneous combustion all of these things characterized Al Pacino's portrayal of, possibly, the most complicated mobster put to film. It may be hard to watch, but undoubtedly it is one of the biggest reasons why The Godfather saga holds the status it does.
